Event Photography
What is an Event?
Event photography is dependent on the type of event covered and the desires of the customer. We prefer to limit our services to two types of event photography. The first type,which we designate as a "Candid Event", is generally a sporting event, such as a baseball or soccer tournament, or perhaps a cheerleading tournament. The services provided for this type of photography are to shoot the event, in its entirety, and provide a CD to the customer with a license to print photographs for the customers PERSONAL use. Use of these photos, in print or digital format, in advertising or commercial use, or resale of prints from the digital copies, is strictly prohibited. A commercial license is available for an additional fee depending on the proposed use of the photograph.
The second type of event photography,which we designate as a "Portrait Event", involves on-site portraits and "instant" print delivery for the customer. This type of function may typically be at a dance (prom or such), conference dinner party, or birthday/anniversary celebration in which the customer wishes to have this service available for the guests. The services provided here include setting up a portable studio (backdrop/posing equipment and portable studio lighting), shooting the guest, either as they arrive or on a schedule throughout the event, and printing the photos ready for delivery by the time the event is concluded and the guests are departing. A CD of the photos provided to the customer with the same limitations as in the Candid Event. As before, these photos are for personal use only and not licensed for advertising/commercial use.
Event Pricing
Candid Events
Candid Events are priced by either a half-day or full-day of service. A half-day is considered four (4) hours INCLUDING travel time to and from the event. A full-day is eight (8) hours including travel time both ways. If travel is outside a 50 mi radius from our office, there is a $0.50/mi mileage charge in addition to the normal event fee.

Portrait Events
Portrait Events include are priced at $50.00 per hour for each hour on-site. Travel over 30 minutes is an additional $30.00 per hour plus $0.50/mi mileage charge. Minimum total charge (including on-site printing) is $200.00.
